The primary purpose of these activities is to recognise number patterns within a limit of 20. Joining dots using a pencil and a straight edge is also an important skill.
The A4 pages may be printed onto A3 paper and used as a wall or clothesline display.
Play acting of situations to help visualize and solve problems. Oral number games can be introduced and enjoyed e.g. Buzz, and Buzz Splot. These activities encourage children to continue developing inquisitiveness and curiosity.
